Updated TVS Sport Launched at Rs36,880; Returns 95kmpl

TVS Motor company has launched the updated model of its popular commuter - the Sport - in the country. The TVS Sport comes with improved mileage and additional features, says the company. TVS claims that the updated TVS Sport returns an impressive mileage of 95km/l under standard drive conditions. Besides improved mileage, the 2015 TVS Sport also comes with a bunch of new features such as an all gear electric start, aluminum grab rail, chrome muffler guard and a sporty instrument cluster.

TVS Sport was launched in India after getting record-breaking sales from the TVS Star City line-up. TVS Sport powered by the same engine which is being used in the Star City that 99.7cc motor. Along with this, the bike also features an easy electric start and a pass-by switch for comfort. It is available in three variants namely ES alloy, KS alloy and KS Spoke. It has been priced at Rs. 44,719 for ES alloy, Rs. 41,649 for KS alloy and Rs. 36,880 for KS spoke (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). It lock horns with Hero MotoCorp Splendor and Bajaj CT 100.Power for the updated TVS Sport comes from DuraLife engine that offers reduced friction and provides less stress on the engine, which in turn leads to more efficient fuel consumption. Available in five colours - red, black, white, blue and mercury grey with contrasting graphics, the entry-level TVS Sport is priced at 36,880 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
