TVS Apache RTR 200
TVS apache RTR 200,the 200cc version of the successful Apache RTR series, is expected to make its India debut on 20 January.The Apache RTR 200 will be powered by a 200cc single-cylinder four-valve liquid-cooled engine expected to churn out 25-30bhp of power. The cooling system for the engine is sourced from BMW Motorrad.
With a power output of 21PS, a kerb weight of 148kg and a claimed 0-60kmph time of 3.9 seconds the RTR 200 looks promising enough to take on its competitors like the Bajaj Pulsar AS 200 and KTM 200 Duke. The bike is on offer with the option of either a carburettor or fuel injection, though currently it does get ABS even as an option.
